Uninstall QuickBooks Point of Sale

Create a backup earlier than uninstalling your Point of Sale.

To uninstall Point of Sale in your pc:

1. Save any records data you might have open after which exit all applications.
2. On your keyboard, press Windows brand+R to open the Run command.
3. Enter Control Panel and choose OK.
4. Select the View by dropdown and choose Small icons.
5. Select Programs and Features.
6. Right-click QuickBooks Point of Sale XX, and choose Uninstall
   Note: XX represents the model of your QuickBooks Point of Sale for Desktop.
7. If a User Account Control window is displayed, choose Continue and comply with via this system elimination.
8. After the uninstall course of is full, rename the QuickBooks Point of Sale XX folder (the default location is C:Program FilesIntuitQuickBooks Point of Sale XX).
9. Rename the C:ProgramDataIntuitQuickBooks Point of Sale XX folder.
10. Rename the QBPOSDBSrvUser folder situated in C:\Users.
11. Remove the QBPOSDBSrvUser Windows login:
    1. On your keyboard, press Windows brand+R to open the Run command.
    2. Select User Accounts
    3. Select Manage another account and choose Continue on the User Account Control window
    4. Select QBPOSDBSrvUser and choose Delete the account.
    5. Confirm the deletion after which shut all open home windows.
12. Restart the pc.
