QuickBooks POS: Change Default Tax Location

 

Today we are going to talk about changing your stores tax location.

Let’s begin:

1. On your “File” menu, go to “Preferences” then select “Company”.
2. On your Company Preferences screen, go to “Work Orders” then select “Sales Tax”.
3. Set up Sales Tax will appear.
   

So, for example, you want to move your store to Northlake because you might not be doing great on your current location. From your Default Tax Location, we will change it to Northlake.

1. On the bottom of the “Set up Sales Tax”, you will see there the Default tax, choose “Northlake”.
   
2. Select “Save”.
