Today we will teach you on how to change the reboot time of your EMV PIN pad so that you won’t have a problem during your working hours.
Let’s begin:
- On your “File” menu, go to “Preferences” then select “Workstation”.
- On your Workstation Preferences select “PIN Pad Reboot Setting”.
- Set the time to when the PIN pad will reboot so that it won’t affect your store during working hours.
We leave our computers off at night and turn them on at 8:30 in the morning for opening at 9:00. We have the reboot time set to 8:45 but they still seem to reboot any time between 8:45 and 10:00. Our Software version is V19 R9. We have 9 licenses and 3 systems have PIN pads, all 3 behave the same way.
I have made the assumption that for the reboot QBPOS needs to be up with an active internet connection.
