QuickBooks POS: How to find Location of the QuickBooks POS Company Data File

 

Today we will show you how to find the location of the company data file in QuickBooks POS.

Let’s begin:

1. Go to “File Explorer”.
   
2. Click “This PC”, then click “Windows (C:)”.
   
3. ON C drive click “Users” then click “Public”.
4. Click “Public Documents” then click “Intuit”.
5. Choose the version of the QuickBooks POS, in this case we choose “QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale 18.0”. Then click “Data”.
   
6. On your data choose the company file you want to open.
   
7. For instance, you choose “Blackrock” as the company file you want to open. Now this “qbpos.db” is your actual company file.
