QuickBooks POS: Memorize a Report

 

Today we will talk about how to memorized a report. You will not literally memorize it on your mind, QuickBooks POS will do it for you.

Let’s begin:

  1. Go to “Report” menu, choose a category (for example, on your Sales then Date Comparison).
  2. On your “Memorized Reports” section choose any reports you want to memorize (for example, Zero Cost Item Summary).
  3. Report center and Sales Date Comparison tab will appear on your screen.
  4. You can customize here the dates of your report, from the past to the present report you want to compare (for example, from 1/15/2020 to 1/15/2018). Then select “Apply data ranges”.
  5. The data from the date of 1/15/2020 and 1/15/2018 will show on the field.
  6. After your done customizing your field, go to “I want to” menu and select “Memorize this Report”.
  7. Enter the Name you want to put on your report (for example, you name the report as “Single day 2 year compare”), then select “Ok”.

If you want to look at your Memorized report.

  1. Go to “Reports” and “Memorized report” then select the name of the report you make.
