QuickBooks POS: Scan Multiple of the Same Item Issue

 

Today we are going to talk about scanning multiple quantities of the same product in the same receipt.

Let’s begin:

1. On your Sales Receipt screen scan the items your customer wants to order. (For example, he wants to order Slim Suchandsuch Jacket, Big Dumb Boots, Dust off Duster)
2. 
3. Select “Cash” then Select “Save”.
4. Select “Save and Print”.
5. On these sample receipt, we are often asked if can’t it just combine the quantity of Dust Off Duster instead of listing them all out as individual items on the receipt.
   
   1. Well, the answer is NO. There are no settings for it to automatically add the quantities in processing the receipt.
   2. It has been programmed in such a way where it just lists them all out like this.
